Lima Beans

Sweet Pea is all excited about hosting Thanksgiving this year as a newlywed and who am I to rain on the parade of the newly married love birds? My only contribution is to bring the lima beans. Only Sparky knows how to make them so he will have to work when we get to Phoenix in the morning.

We plan to attend a movie in the evening and then drive to Sedona on Friday. We shop and visit a lovely cathedral built right into the red rocks. We then attend a festival of lights at night in VERY COLD weather - I have to remember to pack a coat, scarf, and gloves. We will eat at our favorite restaurant there - Red Planet. On Saturday we are kidnapping - I mean bringing Sweet Pea back to Tucson for the U of A vs. Az State (SCUM DEVILS) game. We have attended many U of Az games but never the big rivalry. We are really looking forward to this one!

Sunday we release Sweet Pea back into the wild that is the big city of Phoenix and I will clean house and shop for a turkey because really, who are we kidding? Do you honestly think I would not cook a turkey so we can have leftovers all week?
