Mum likes reading, decorating, shopping with the girls, and Starbucks. She also feels funny writing in the 3rd person. Papa (also known as Sparky) is currently looking at me with a blank stare having asked him to add something about himself to the blog. (Now he wants to say something) The only thing he loves more in life than music and Coke is his wife and kids. (Awww...) :) Little Lotte is a genius on the computer and makes me fall over laughing every day with her quick wit. She loves computers and animals. Sweet Pea abandoned her family and moved to Phoenix for work and is now married as of 2/28/06. She is beautiful and smart and the most nurturing person I know. She gave me the greatest gift ever when she made me a grandmother. I am the proud Mum Mum to Andrew Christopher. There are no words to describe the joy of having a grandson!

I'll just post a million a day until I am all caught up...

Here are some grad pics in no particular order. It was a wonderful night! We are so blessed to have had Sweet Pea marry into a wonderful family. They all traveled down from Phoenix to celebrate with us! Enjoy the pictures.

I think congratulations should go to you and Bob, for raising up two well-adjusted, socially-responsible young women. They are a tribute to you. So, her graduation is also something for YOU to celebrate, for YOURSELF!

btw - didn't know if you heard that we are being farewelled from here. We're going to DHQ in Syracuse - that's right, DHQ! God help this organization!

(I'll be in finance, and P will be working with LOM and Older Adults)

Enjoy the summer...

Hi Tom,

THANK YOU for the kind words!!! We are very, very blessed. I cannot tell you how wonderful these two beings are!!!

WOW!!! DHQ STAFFERS!!!!!! Look out New York!!!!! That is exciting!!! Is is something you are looking forward to? I would imagine it would be good to be on the other side for awhile and see things from the admin. perspective!

Are you excited about Syracuse? We have traveled through there. Nice area, it seems! I hope you and Pauline and the boys get to go on that Disney cruise! Let me know!

Keep in touch!!!!

Before we were in Allentown, we were in Auburn, NY, which is only about 40 minutes away from Syracuse. So we are kinda going back to the scene of the crime - lol.

We are looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities - yes, it will be a break for us.

As far as the Disney cruise goes, since circumstances were beyond our control as to why we couldn't go last month, we should be able to reschedule. In fact, the local Make a Wish office has already alerted the office in the Syracuse area of our situation, and they will be forwarding Alex's "case file" up there. Hopefully, when we are blanketed under feet and feet of snow in Syracuse, we can escape to the Caribbean on the Disney Cruise! Yippee!

BTW - if you use Facebook, and find me there, you'll be able to see some of my pic from my most recent Pendel Brass trip to St. Thomas. I hope to post a few pics on Xanga, also!
