Mum likes reading, decorating, shopping with the girls, and Starbucks. She also feels funny writing in the 3rd person. Papa (also known as Sparky) is currently looking at me with a blank stare having asked him to add something about himself to the blog. (Now he wants to say something) The only thing he loves more in life than music and Coke is his wife and kids. (Awww...) :) Little Lotte is a genius on the computer and makes me fall over laughing every day with her quick wit. She loves computers and animals. Sweet Pea abandoned her family and moved to Phoenix for work and is now married as of 2/28/06. She is beautiful and smart and the most nurturing person I know. She gave me the greatest gift ever when she made me a grandmother. I am the proud Mum Mum to Andrew Christopher. There are no words to describe the joy of having a grandson!

Don't Mess With Me On My Summer Break...

I just sent this email to MSA SOLUTIONS. I'll update you on my next move!

To Whom It May Concern:

Your company keeps calling me. At all hours on all days, even Sundays. My husband told you two days ago to stop calling and take us off your list. But this morning? Another call.

You messed with the wrong gal. While researching I found several sites to post your number, this being one of them: http://800notes.com:80/Default.aspx

Then I sent an email to my district attorney, Terry Goddard's office.

Next, I filed a complaint here:
http://www.panix.com/~eck/telemarket.html#fcc

Then I checked to make sure my number was registered with the DO NOT CALL Registry and by golly, they sent me this email! Here is the copy:

To: mdautrich@cox.net
From: Verify@donotcall.gov

Subject: National Do Not Call Registry - Your Registration Is Confirmed

Size: 2 KB
Your phone number with the last four digits **** was registered in the National
Do Not Call Registry on 6/29/2003. Most telemarketers will be required to stop
calling you 31 days from your registration date. Your registration will (or did)
expire on 6/30/2008.

SO then I thought, I wonder what other people have done? Turns out, they have sued. It costs me $195.00 to file a claim. I read about a man in California who has sued for $25,000 so far and has every penny!

That got me thinking: YOUR COMPANY is probably the answer to my prayers! You see I have a daughter trying to go to a very expensive college - the cost? $25,000 a year!

So um, thanks! I will file a small claim EVERY SINGLE TIME you call my number, starting with this morning's call. All the info I need to file the claim is available on the internet. They even have pre made forms!

I appreciate your contribution to higher education!

Sincerely,

Tuesday is the big day for the move. Andrew will stay behind and go to Music Conservatory, so just the three of us will trek north. MAYBE we will pick him up after conservatory...

Loved your post about "Sparky's outbursts!" Tell him hookers aren't all they're cracked up to be, ... er, um, ... or so I've been told! :-]
