Mum likes reading, decorating, shopping with the girls, and Starbucks. She also feels funny writing in the 3rd person. Papa (also known as Sparky) is currently looking at me with a blank stare having asked him to add something about himself to the blog. (Now he wants to say something) The only thing he loves more in life than music and Coke is his wife and kids. (Awww...) :) Little Lotte is a genius on the computer and makes me fall over laughing every day with her quick wit. She loves computers and animals. Sweet Pea abandoned her family and moved to Phoenix for work and is now married as of 2/28/06. She is beautiful and smart and the most nurturing person I know. She gave me the greatest gift ever when she made me a grandmother. I am the proud Mum Mum to Andrew Christopher. There are no words to describe the joy of having a grandson!

Top Ten Things I Learned From Watching Pirates of the Caribbean

I am behind on my movies. Because I have a memory like a sieve, I have to watch the first POTC again so I am ready to rent POTC 2 and eventually be ready for POTC 3. Here is what I learned from watching the first POTC last night:

1. I thought Caribbean was spelled Carribean.

2. No one ever has to use the bathroom.

3. Pirates have turkey legs, fresh baguette!, and juicy green apples available for dinner.

4. You will never need or get a full night's sleep unless you A) are on a deserted beach and have just been on a drinking binge or B) you were just knocked out in a fight (even though everyone around you was shot or stabbed to death)

5. Your hair will maintain curls and be lightly teased at the crown, pulled back perfectly throughout your adventures.

6. No one needs to bathe or brush their teeth. I know Pirates don't but apparently neither does anyone in the village the pirates are pillaging. (And by the way, the village will have only one child - a blonde haired, blue eyed toddler)

7. Deserted beaches have creamy white sands and a beautifully cleared section just waiting for you to build a bonfire.

8. You will not need matches to light this bonfire.

9. There are no wild animals or creepy crawlies on this deserted beach.

10. Johnny Depp looks GREAT even with with heavily applied black eyeliner.

Very funny! I have seen POC3 yet. I'm going to wait until it's out on DVD. I can't sit through a 3 hour movie, Johnny Depp or no Johnny Depp. That's just too long!
